Current Mood: Excited for Christmas! :D
Current Triumph: I survived this Thanksgiving relatively drama-free (that might have something to do with the fact that we were with my folks and they just wanted to go to K&W cafeteria :P)
Current Bane of my Existence: Thanksgiving. I have historically had HORRIBLE experiences on this day and I just don't need society to dictate one special day for me to acknowledge all the blessings in my life. It's a day dedicated to food I don't like and crammed with unspoken and unrealistic expectations that inevitably leave someone disappointed. I wish I could just escape to a beach by myself during this time of the year! Ha, my poor kids deserve to grow up with a mom who does it traditional and right. Oh well.
Current Artist I'm Diggin': Happy D. Artist is so sweet and makes stunning pieces!
Current Product/Tool/Material/Technique: Happy got me interested in adding highlights with white charcoal pencils on tan paper.
Current Color Palette: tan and white :) Very neutral and feels appropriate for these gray days in the fall
Current Music: This beat is just kind of hypnotic.....
Current Food: breakfast foods at any time... pancakes, french toast, bacon, can't go wrong!
Current Movie/TV Show: The Walking Dead is so intense!!!!
Current Book: I haven't read but it my hubby went on a retreat with some brothers (at the same place I just went to) and it was all based on this Warrior book. He came back SO inspired, it's really been encouraging to me!
Current Guilty Pleasure: I don't really feel guilty about it at all.... falling in love more and more with my husband! I never STOPPED adoring him but when he gets all passionate about something, especially something that will be good for our family, that man has never been so attractive!
Current Need: Just to get through the next few weeks of school. The time between Thanksgiving and Winter Break is hard because the kids are just so checked out!
Current Want: To get all my Christmas decorations up!
Currently Studying: Eve and other women of the Bible... how we were created to be our husbands' partners in this adventure of life.
